Raise industry knowledge
Improve understanding of food and water safety among the businesses and municipalities we work with.
BioSel Laboratory Solutions was founded by Tebogo Selekolo and built into a trusted analytical partner across the food, medical, pharmaceutical and water sectors.

The founder story
Tebogo Selekolo spent close to two decades inside laboratories before starting BioSel. That background shapes how the lab runs today. Methods are chosen because they answer the client question, not because they are easy to accredit. Reports are written so that a plant manager can act on them without needing a chemist to translate.
The company is headquartered at Bodirelo Industrial Park in Mogwase under the Moses Kotane Municipality, with a second branch in Polokwane. Two locations means samples reach a bench faster in the North West and Limpopo, which is the single biggest factor in turnaround time.
To be a leading scientific, innovative and quality driven laboratory, providing critical analytical services with excellence and integrity.
Objectives
Improve understanding of food and water safety among the businesses and municipalities we work with.
Deliver laboratory solutions that stand up technically without pricing smaller operations out.
Assist facilities with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation after a failure.
Provide mentorship and training programmes that exceed what clients expect from a lab.
The team
Two directors, a laboratory manager, a supervisor and a quality superintendent. Between them they carry the technical sign off, the bench scheduling and the quality system that our accreditation rests on.

Transformation and impact
BioSel is 100 percent black owned and a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor, which means your procurement spend with us carries the highest recognition level available. Beyond the certificate, the growth of the business has gone straight back into the community around it.
Awards and recognition
Growing a laboratory in Mogwase into an accredited operation serving two provinces has not gone unnoticed. These are the moments the work has been recognised.
Site visits at the Mogwase and Polokwane branches can be arranged for prospective clients and auditors.
